Winter/Spring WAP Trips

We had to get out of the house a few weeks after Chandler was born...so we decided to go to the WAP...with only two diapers, no change of clothes and no baby bottle (just in case, I was nursing but still like to have backup)...what a bunch of rookies, right!?!

We still had a great time ; )

For once I didn't have to climb in the cave or the termite nest (or whatever kind of nest it is) ; )

*********************************************************************************

We went again during Spring Break...along with the rest of San Diego County!!

This was the best!  Grant and I were listening to a talk from an animal trainer and she asked for questions and Grant saw a few little kids put their hands up, so he did too!  She called on him and he ran an hid behind my leg, it was so freaking cute!  I didn't think he knew what it meant to raise your hand...but didn't stop him, was super curious to see if he did know what to do or if he would be confused when she said, "yes little boy do you have a question?"...check out video to watch.

Here is video of lady calling on him and him "tucking" away.

The whole crew!!

Petting Zoo

New Native American exhibit...canoe and water pump play area...

Water pump videos:

Water Pump Station
Grant thought he had to yell "shower" for the water to come out...just like he does in the bathtub...the bigger kids controlling the water pump were totally playing along and all the little kids were convinced and all started yelling "Shower or Water"...it was pretty funny.  At some point I want to believe that Grant realized the bigger kids were controlling the water supply.

Fireman Grant..."Fireman Sam!"

And if the Water Station wasn't fun enough...Heath and Rach showed us the spinning Turtles!!1

Turtles

Everytime they went in, the held eachother like this...so freaking cute!!

All in all great day with Heath, Rachel, Rachael, the girls and Derrick!!  And a few other friends too...plus all of San Diego County!  ; )
